Central Electromagnetic Calorimeters

(CEMC1 and CEMC2)

The photograph shows the Central Electromagnetic Calorimeters, CEMC1 and CEMC2. The beam comes from the left side of this photograph. The front surface of the CEMC's are placed at 10 m in the beam direction from the target center. The distance between the beam center and the center of each lead glass array is 0.97 m. Each CEMC covered the polar angle of 5.5+/-2.2 degrees and the azimuthal angle of +/-25 degrees in the laboratory frame. The center of each CEMC corresponded to 90 degrees in the center of mass system of beam and target protons.
